The ERA Protec Door/ Window sensor secures any potential access points in a property including doors, windows and cupboards. The sensor comes in two parts and uses magnets to determine and therefore trigger the alarm when a door/ window has been opened i.e. the link between the magnets is broken. With two-way communication, the LED indicator will alert to a trigger. The built-in tamper protection will notify of anyone trying to remove the sensor too. We recommend placing the sensor on the fixed surface and the smaller magnetic contact on the moving surface. Position the sensor and magnetic contact as close to each other as possible. For optimum performance please ensure the gap is no more than 10mm (maximum supported gap is 20mm).
All alarm accessories pair to the hub with the touch of a button via the IOS or Android App. The sensor can be attached with either the adhesive mounts or the screws provided. The clever design of the sensor means that the two parts do not necessarily have to be aligned horizontally and so can be fitted to angled door and window frames.
Please note: One ERA Protect alarm hub system can support up 96 wireless accessories which can be a mixture of remotes, keypads, door/ window magnetic sensors, PIR's and wireless sirens.
