When complying with UK wiring regulations for burial in the ground, they must be installed in a conduit or duct for protection against mechanical damage. They should not be installed in concrete that is shaken, vibrated, or compressed.
These black NYY cables have a UV-stabilised outer sheath, making them suitable for direct exposure to sunlight. They have an operating temperature range of -15oC to +70oC when fixed and -5oC to +50oC when flexed.
