The importance of the alarm sounder
The alarm sounder is a really important part of the burglar alarm system. The external sounder alerts potential intruders that the property is alarmed, and also anyone in the immediate vicinity. Whether your alarm has third party monitoring or smart monitoring, the sounder is incredibly effective in protection your property and is an excellent deterrent to would-be intruders.
Dummy external sounders
Dummy external sounders are another great way to deter criminals. These boxes look like external sounders and are often identical to the main alarm models. They replicate the casing of a regular sounder and can also include LED lighting to appear authentic. These simulate a live bellbox but will not sound if the property is broken into.
