Astroflame Fire Rated and Acoustic Internal Double 35mm Socket Box Insert AFFRASOCDIN

Astroflame's internal socket box inserts are made from halogen-free, low smoke, fire-resistant mineral fibre material. They are designed to maintain the fire performance of partition wall constructions when penetrated by steel or plastic electrical back boxes. These inserts also reduce sound transmission and limit air movement.

In the event of a fire, the mineral fibre material helps prevent fire from passing through the back box aperture. Depending on wall construction, the insert offers fire resistance from 30 to 120 minutes for both integrity and insulation.
