What are Heavy Goods?

Some of our products are big and bulky like storage heaters, Solar Battery Storage & Electric Fires which need to travel by pallet rather than by standard courier. Carriage costs are shown at checkout and are charged at the cost price of a pallet on a 48-hour delivery service to most locations. If you live somewhere a little more out of the way, it may take a bit longer due to logistics.

All storage heaters (except mini bathroom models) ,Solar Battery Storage & Electric Fires that weigh over 30kg, which means they fall into our heavy goods category. The delivery cost is calculated based on your postcode and how many pallets are needed for your order. Here’s the good news sometimes you can get more on a pallet for the same price. For example, four heaters may cost the same to deliver as one, if they all fit neatly on a single pallet.

Each pallet can carry up to 500kg and will arrive by lorry. Please note, you’ll be responsible for unloading the pallet on delivery.
