Removing a double socket or two gang switch leaves a twin back box to cover, and the BG Nexus 895-01 does that cleanly. The 146 x 86mm plate fixes at 120.6mm centres, sits low against the wall at under 7mm deep, and includes screw covers for a tidy finish.
It keeps any connections behind it accessible, which is often required where a junction remains in the box. Make sure all conductors are safely terminated before fitting.
