Knightsbridge

Why Buy Knightsbridge Lighting?

Knightsbridge was founded in 1998 and has grown into one of the UK's most recognised names in wiring accessories and LED lighting. Over more than two decades, the brand has earned its position on merchants' shelves and in electricians' vans alike, not through flash but through consistency: products that install cleanly, perform as specified, and hold their finish for years.

Lighting that covers every room and every rating

The Knightsbridge lighting range is built around practicality as much as style. Fire-rated GU10 downlights, including the SpektroLED range, are a mainstay for new build and refurbishment work where building regulations demand fire protection between floors.

For outdoor spaces, the brand's IP65 and IP66 rated fittings, including deck lights, garden spike lights and wall-mounted down lights, are designed to withstand the UK climate without corroding or clouding over. LED strip and cabinet lighting, battens and bulkheads round out a range that spans kitchens, bathrooms, gardens and commercial interiors.

Emergency lighting is another area where Knightsbridge has quietly built a strong offering, with non-maintained emergency downlights that meet the practical needs of landlords, facilities managers and commercial installers without adding unnecessary cost to a project.

Sockets and switches built for real installations

Knightsbridge's wiring accessories are best known through two core collections. The Curved Edge range offers a softer, more forgiving profile that suits the majority of domestic installations, while the screwless range gives a cleaner, more minimal finish favoured in higher specification homes and refurbishments. Both are available across a wide choice of finishes, including matt black, brushed chrome, polished chrome, antique brass and white. So, an entire property can be kept visually consistent from room to room.

Beyond standard sockets and switches, the range extends to USB charging sockets, integrated Bluetooth speaker outlets, IP66 rated outdoor sockets, fused spur units, fan isolator switches and bathroom pull cord switches, along with LED drivers and dimmers for compatible fittings.

Smart home and connected products

Knightsbridge has also moved into smart technology, with WiFi enabled outdoor sockets and connected accessories that allow lighting and power to be controlled remotely, without requiring a specialist smart home system to be installed alongside them.

Why choose Knightsbridge

For electricians and trade buyers, Knightsbridge offers the reassurance of a brand that's been tested at scale across thousands of UK installations, with parts and finishes that are easy to match years after the original fit. For homeowners, it means access to trade quality wiring accessories and lighting, at prices that don't carry a premium for the name alone.
