The BG 952-0J unswitched fused connection unit gives a 13A fused supply with no switch on the plate, so alarm panels, fridge freezers and boilers with frost protection stay powered. It comes from BG's square edge 900 Series.
Its square edge plate gives a crisp, architectural look that differs from the rounded 800 Series. Made to BS 1363-4, it fits a single back box of at least 35mm depth at 60.3mm centres. Fit a fuse rated for the appliance; for low current loads that need a 3A fuse from the outset, the 953-01 is supplied with one. Labelling unswitched spurs makes the circuit easier to trace later.
