The BG 970-0J cooker control unit combines a 45A double pole cooker switch, a 13A socket and a flush LED power indicator on one twin size plate. It isolates an electric cooker or range from its dedicated circuit and gives a convenient worktop plug point beside it.
Square edges set the 900 Series apart from BG's rounded 800 Series, and this plate follows suit. Made to BS 4177, it needs a twin back box of at least 47mm depth at 120.6mm centres, and its terminals take cable up to 16mm². For the same unit without the indicator, see the 971-0J.
