Pairing brushed stainless steel with a white insert, the Deta Slimline Décor SD1203SSW is a 1 gang 2 way 10AX light switch built for rooms where you want metal plates without a heavy, industrial look.

It can run a single light from one position, or be paired with a second 2 way switch so the same light works from both ends of a hallway or room. Matching white insert sockets, spurs and blank plates are available across the Deta Slimline Décor range.

Black or white insert?

Every Slimline Décor plate has an insert, the coloured section set into the stainless steel around the rocker. On the SD1203SSW it is white, so the rocker sits on a clean white surround framed by brushed metal. On white, cream or soft neutral walls the switch looks lighter and less prominent, which works well in bedrooms, landings and homes with painted woodwork. For a bolder, higher contrast finish, or on a darker wall, a black insert is the better choice.
