The BG 981-0J is a one gang intelligent dimmer from the square edge 900 Series. Push the knob to switch on or off, and turn it to set the level. It uses trailing edge control, which suits modern dimmable LED lamps and keeps them quiet and flicker free.
It handles 5W to 100W of dimmable LED, or up to 200W of incandescent and halogen, and the electronics provide soft start plus thermal and overload protection. It can be wired 2 way. Check that the lamps are marked dimmable, and allow for driver load when adding up LED wattage. For two dimmed circuits on one plate, choose the 982-0J.
