Shower Extractor fans with LED light

We have a range of shower extractor fans that have built-in LED lights making it ideal for positioning in a shower cubicle or over your bath. The ceiling above your shower or bath is typically a Zone 2 area, which means that an IPX4-rated fan should have a good enough IP rating to allow for the installation of a shower extractor fan.

The inclusion of an LED light means that you can illuminate the idea without having to try and figure out how you're going to fit both an extractor fan and lighting in the area. These kits include an inline extractor fan, ducting, the light and a vent to install. We've got everything you need to create the right amount of ventilation for your shower and keep the area well-lit.

How long should I leave an extractor fan on after a shower?

After your shower you're likely to find that the bathroom is steamy and damp, to make sure that dampness doesn't turn into mould an extractor fan is key. Leaving the extractor fan on while you shower is the best option but you should also leave it on for at least 30 minutes after you've showered. This will allow enough time for the extractor fan to do its job and remove as much moisture as possible. If you have poor ventilation in the bathroom (no windows for example), you may wish to leave it on longer.
