Mains Smoke Alarm with Replaceable AAA Battery Backup

The FireHawk FHN250BB is a mains-powered optical multi-sensor smoke alarm designed to provide dependable fire detection for domestic properties. It combines FireHawk's X-Profile optical detection chamber with Thermal Stability Enhancement (TSE) technology to help provide effective smoke detection while reducing unwanted nuisance alarms caused by changing environmental conditions.

Powered from the mains supply, the alarm also includes 3 x AAA replaceable batteries for backup protection in the event of a mains power failure. Its low-power design, large test button and alarm silence functions make it a practical solution for bedrooms, hallways, landings, living areas and escape routes.

The FHN250BB can also be upgraded for FireHawk RF-Link wireless interconnection by fitting the optional FHN600RF RF-Link module, allowing integration with compatible FireHawk smoke, heat, carbon monoxide and hard-of-hearing alarm products.

X-Profile Optical Detection

The FHN250BB incorporates FireHawk's X-Profile detection chamber, controlled by dedicated software to provide effective detection of smoke from developing fires.

Optical smoke alarms are particularly suited to detecting slow, smouldering fires, including those involving electrical equipment, clothing and soft furnishings. This makes the alarm particularly suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and domestic escape routes.

Hard-Wired Interconnection
