Wireless RF-Link Module for Compatible FireHawk Mains Alarms

The FireHawk FHN600RF RF-Link Radio Module is designed to add wireless interlink capability to compatible FireHawk mains-powered smoke and heat alarms.

Quick and easy to install into the rear of a compatible alarm, the module allows mains-powered FireHawk alarms to communicate wirelessly with other products in the FireHawk RF-Link range. This makes it possible to create a connected fire and carbon monoxide alarm system without requiring interlink cabling between every alarm.

FireHawk's smart wireless system ensures that when one alarm activates, all linked alarms sound, helping provide an audible warning throughout the property. The FHN600RF operates at 868MHz and offers a wireless range of approximately 30 metres indoors and up to 120 metres in open air.

Compatible FireHawk Mains Alarms

The FHN600RF is designed for use with compatible FireHawk mains-powered alarms, including:

• FHN250BB – Mains Optical Smoke Alarm with Replaceable Battery Backup
• FHN250RB – Mains Optical Smoke Alarm with Rechargeable Battery Backup
• FHN450BB – Mains Heat Alarm with Replaceable Battery Backup

The module is installed into the rear of the compatible alarm and secured in position to enable RF-Link wireless communication.

FireHawk RF-Link Compatibility

Once installed, the FHN600RF allows compatible mains alarms to communicate with other products in the FireHawk RF-Link system, including:

• FHH10-RF – RF-Link Heat Alarm
• CO10-RF – RF-Link Carbon Monoxide Alarm

This allows battery and mains-powered FireHawk alarms to be combined within the same wireless interconnected system.

Smart Wireless Interconnection

FireHawk RF-Link technology is designed to provide property-wide warning when an alarm is triggered.

If one compatible alarm detects smoke, heat or carbon monoxide, the RF-Link system communicates the alarm condition to the other linked units so that all alarms in the interconnected system sound.

This is particularly useful in larger properties or locations where an alarm activating in one area may not otherwise be clearly heard elsewhere.

Up to 20 RF-Link Alarms

The FHN600RF supports systems containing up to 20 RF-Link alarms.

Where the system incorporates the FHN800HIA Hard of Hearing Alarm, FireHawk specifies a maximum of 15 RF devices.

The FHN600RF operates on the 868MHz radio frequency and offers a manufacturer-specified range of:
