Rated at 100A with 300mA sensitivity, the FuseBox RTA1003004 4 pole Type A RCD disconnects all three phases and neutral when a residual current fault is detected.
Type A detects AC and pulsating DC residual currents, the minimum type for most modern installations under BS 7671. The 300mA sensitivity is intended for fault protection and fire risk duties rather than 30mA additional protection, often on TT supplies or upfront of a distribution board. RCDs give no overcurrent protection, so use them with suitably rated MCBs or upstream fuses.
