The FuseBox RTA1000304 is a 100A 30mA 4 pole Type A residual current device, used to protect a group of circuits or a dedicated supply against earth leakage.
Type A detects AC and pulsating DC residual currents, the minimum type for most modern installations under BS 7671. A 30mA rating provides additional protection for socket outlets and circuits in special locations. RCDs give no overcurrent protection, so use them with suitably rated MCBs or upstream fuses.
