FuseBox 10A 30mA Type A B Curve 10kA Mini AFDD RCBO | MAFDD101030B

The FuseBox MAFDD101030B is a 10A mini arc fault detection device with integrated RCBO, giving arc fault, overload, short circuit and 30mA Type A earth leakage protection in one single module.

AFDDs detect series and parallel arc faults caused by damaged cables, loose terminations and deteriorated insulation, conditions that MCBs and RCDs alone cannot see. BS 7671 recommends AFDDs for final circuits supplying socket outlets up to 32A, and they are commonly specified in sleeping accommodation, HMOs and buildings of combustible construction. The MAFDD101030B fits all FuseBox consumer units and TPN boards and can replace a FuseBox RCBO where arc protection is needed. At 10A it is typically used on lighting circuits, outdoor lighting and small fixed appliances. Final device selection should always follow the circuit design, cable size, installation method and fault level of the installation.
