The FuseBox F3031MZ is a 31 way metal consumer unit with a 100A main switch incomer and a factory fitted Type 2 surge protection device, ready to populate with FuseBox RCBOs, AFDDs or MCBs.

A main switch board gives each circuit its own RCBO or AFDD, so a fault on one circuit does not take out the rest of the installation. The 36 module enclosure is laid out as 15/16 double bank for larger homes, extensions and light commercial premises, and a tail clamp is supplied. Type 2 SPD protection helps the installation meet the BS 7671 requirement to consider protection against transient overvoltages.
