Combining an MCB and RCD in one unit, the FuseBox RTB06B40BD protects a 40A circuit against overload, short circuit and earth leakage, with 30mA Type B sensitivity and a 6kA rating.

Type B detects AC, pulsating DC and smooth DC residual currents, required where equipment can produce smooth DC fault currents such as some EV chargers, heat pumps and PV inverters. At 40A with a B curve characteristic it is typically used on cookers, electric showers and EV charger supplies.
