The FuseBox FCO2P063 is a 63A 2 pole AC changeover switch in an IP65 polycarbonate enclosure, switching a load between two supplies.
Changeover switches are used to connect a generator as a backup supply, or to transfer a load between mains and an alternative source, with a centre off position so both supplies can never be connected together. The 2 pole version suits single phase supplies. Built to EN 60947-3.
Installation notes
A changeover switch must ensure the generator and the mains supply can never be connected together. Size the switch for the full installation load, confirm the earthing arrangement for generator operation and have the installation designed and tested by a competent person to BS 7671.
