Rated at 63A with 30mA sensitivity, the FuseBox RTBHP630302 double pole Type B RCD disconnects line and neutral when a residual current fault is detected.
Type B detects AC, pulsating DC and smooth DC residual currents, required where equipment can produce smooth DC fault currents such as some EV chargers, heat pumps and PV inverters. This version is designated for heat pump supplies, where inverter compressors can produce DC residual currents that would blind a Type A device. A 30mA rating provides additional protection for socket outlets and circuits in special locations. RCDs give no overcurrent protection, so use them with suitably rated MCBs or upstream fuses.
