The FuseBox F3M2SPDZ is an in line 100A main switch and Type 2 surge protection device in a 6 module metal enclosure, designed to retrofit surge protection ahead of an existing board.
Installed between the meter and the consumer unit, it provides surge protection to the whole installation without changing the existing board, and the metal enclosure matches the FuseBox F3 range.
Installation notes
Keep SPD connecting leads as short and straight as possible, ideally under 0.5m in total, and connect the earth lead directly to the main earthing terminal or board earth bar. Check the SPD status indicator after installation and at each periodic inspection.
