The FuseBox F2MSPD1 is a stand alone Type 1 surge protection unit with a 63A MCB and 100A main switch in a 6 module metal enclosure.
Type 1 SPDs are required where a building has a lightning protection system or an overhead supply at risk of direct lightning current. Suitable for TN-S, TN-C-S, TN-C and TT earthing arrangements.
Installation notes
Keep SPD connecting leads as short and straight as possible, ideally under 0.5m in total, and connect the earth lead directly to the main earthing terminal or board earth bar. Check the SPD status indicator after installation and at each periodic inspection.
