The FuseBox SPDCUKITT1 is a Type 1 surge protection kit for FuseBox consumer units, supplied with a 63A MCB and 16mm² line, neutral and earth cables.
Rated as Type 1, 2 and 3 combined protection, it suits installations with lightning protection or exposed overhead supplies. Suitable for TN-S, TN-C-S, TN-C and TT earthing.
Installation notes
Keep SPD connecting leads as short and straight as possible, ideally under 0.5m in total, and connect the earth lead directly to the main earthing terminal or board earth bar. Check the SPD status indicator after installation and at each periodic inspection.
