Dual Wattage Selection – 5W or 7W

The KSR Firebreak QR Pro Select downlights offer a practical dual-wattage design, allowing installers to select either 5W or 7W to suit the lighting requirements of the space.

The 5W setting provides an energy-efficient option for areas requiring lower light levels, while the 7W setting delivers increased illumination for brighter general lighting.

This flexibility makes it possible to use the same downlight model across different rooms or areas of a building.

Benefits of Selectable Wattage

• Adjust lighting output to suit different applications
• Reduce the need to stock multiple downlight wattages
• Improve installation flexibility
• Support energy-efficient lighting designs
• Use one downlight range throughout a property

The selectable wattage is particularly useful for contractors working on developments with varying room sizes and lighting requirements.

Four Selectable Colour Temperatures – 2700K, 3000K, 4000K and 6000K

Each Firebreak QR Pro Select downlight features 4CCT selectable colour temperature, allowing the installer to choose between four white light settings.

2700K – Extra Warm White

Produces a soft, warm light that creates a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

Ideal for:

• Living rooms
• Bedrooms
• Lounges
• Hospitality areas

3000K – Warm White

Provides a warm yet practical lighting effect suitable for everyday residential applications.

Ideal for:

• Kitchens
• Dining rooms
• Hallways
• Residential interiors

4000K – Cool White

Delivers a crisp, neutral white light suitable for areas where clear visibility is important.

Ideal for:

• Kitchens
• Bathrooms
• Utility rooms
• Offices
• Workspaces

6000K – Daylight White

Produces a bright, cool daylight-style appearance for spaces requiring a clean and highly visible lighting environment.

Ideal for:

• Workshops
• Utility areas
• Commercial interiors
• Task-focused environments

The selectable CCT feature allows the lighting colour to be chosen during installation without needing to purchase separate colour-temperature variants.

Up to 850 Lumens of Bright LED Illumination

The KSRFRD386/10 downlights provide a maximum light output of 850 lumens, delivering effective illumination for a wide range of interior spaces.

With a 64° beam angle, the Firebreak QR Pro Select range is designed to provide a balanced spread of light suitable for general recessed ceiling lighting.

The beam angle helps create consistent illumination when multiple downlights are installed across a room.

The exact lumen output will depend on the selected wattage and colour temperature.

High Efficiency – Up to 134 Lumens per Circuit Watt

The KSR Firebreak QR Pro Select range offers excellent energy efficiency, achieving up to 134 lumens per circuit watt.

This allows the downlights to provide useful illumination while maintaining low power consumption.

For properties using multiple recessed ceiling lights, efficient LED technology can help reduce electricity consumption compared with traditional halogen downlights.

The long LED lifespan also helps minimise maintenance and replacement requirements.

Fire Rated Recessed Downlights

The Firebreak QR Pro Select downlights are designed for installation in ceilings where suitable fire rated downlights are required.

Fire rated construction helps maintain the performance of an appropriately specified fire-resisting ceiling assembly when recessed downlights are installed.

This makes the range particularly relevant to residential developments, refurbishment projects and professional electrical installations.

Important: Fire resistance performance depends on the tested ceiling construction and installation conditions. Installers should consult the manufacturer's fire test documentation to confirm suitability for the intended ceiling.

IP65 Protection for Bathrooms and Moisture-Prone Areas

Each KSR Firebreak QR Pro Select downlight is rated IP65 from the front when correctly installed.

This provides protection against dust ingress and water jets at the exposed face of the fitting.

The downlights are therefore suitable for a wide range of indoor applications, including appropriately specified bathroom installations.

Potential applications include:

• Bathrooms
• Shower rooms
• Kitchens
• Utility rooms
• Hallways
• General residential interiors

Bathroom installation must comply with the relevant electrical regulations and the manufacturer's installation instructions.

The IP65 rating applies to the front of the fitting when installed, not necessarily to the complete rear assembly.

Phase Dimmable as Standard

The KSRFRD386/10 downlights feature phase dimming capability, allowing compatible dimmer switches to adjust light output.

Dimming provides greater flexibility for different activities and lighting preferences.

For example, brighter lighting can be used for everyday tasks, while lower light levels can create a relaxed atmosphere during the evening.

Benefits of Dimmable LED Downlights

• Adjustable room brightness
• Improved lighting comfort
• Flexible mood and ambient lighting
• Suitable for multifunctional spaces
• Potential energy savings when dimmed

Dimmer compatibility: Use a compatible phase dimmer and refer to KSR's approved dimmer compatibility information before installation.

PRO LEVER Connector for Faster Installation

One of the standout features of the KSR Firebreak QR Pro Select range is the new PRO LEVER connector.

Designed to simplify wiring, the connector helps professional installers complete electrical connections more efficiently.

This is particularly beneficial when fitting multiple downlights across a property or commercial development.

With 10 downlights supplied in one pack, the installation advantages of the PRO LEVER connector can be especially valuable on larger projects.

Supplied with White Bezels

Every downlight in the KSRFRD386/10 multipack is supplied with a white polycarbonate bezel.

The clean white finish complements a wide variety of ceiling styles and interior designs.

For projects requiring a different appearance, alternative coloured rims and square rim options are available separately.

This allows the Firebreak QR Pro Select range to be adapted to different decorative requirements without changing the core downlight.

Emergency Lighting Option Available

The Firebreak QR Pro Select range can be configured for compatible emergency lighting applications using the KSR98109 emergency pack.

This provides additional flexibility for commercial and other installations where emergency lighting may be required.

Please note: The KSR98109 emergency pack is an optional accessory and is not included in the standard KSRFRD386/10 multipack.

Emergency lighting installations must be designed and tested in accordance with the applicable standards and project requirements.

Long-Life LED Performance

The KSR Firebreak QR Pro Select downlights are rated to L70/B10 at 54,000 hours.

This long-life LED performance helps reduce the frequency of lighting replacements, making the downlights suitable for installations where reliability and reduced maintenance are important.

The 5-year manufacturer warranty provides additional reassurance for professional installers and property owners.

Suitable for Loose Insulation Covering

The KSR Firebreak QR Pro Select downlights can be loosely covered with insulation, subject to the manufacturer's installation instructions.

This provides additional installation flexibility in ceiling spaces containing thermal insulation.

Installers should follow KSR's specified clearance and insulation requirements and avoid compressing insulation around the fitting.

Ideal 10-Pack for Professional Installations

The KSRFRD386/10 multipack contains ten matching Firebreak QR Pro Select LED downlights.

Purchasing a multipack is particularly convenient for electricians and contractors undertaking installations involving several recessed ceiling lights.

Typical projects include:

• New-build housing developments
• Domestic lighting upgrades
• Property refurbishments
• Apartment installations
• Kitchen renovations
• Bathroom renovations
• Commercial lighting projects
• Landlord property improvements

The selectable wattage and colour temperature allow the same downlight model to be configured for different spaces throughout a project.
