MK Sentry 6A MCB Type B Single Pole 6kA | H5903S

MK Sentry MCB’s are a single pole, single module format that provides an overcurrent rating of 10A and a short circuit breaking capacity of 6kA. For use with all MK Sentry Consumer Units and MK Sentry Enclosures. An MCB activates on detection of an overcurrent caused by both overload and fault currents, interrupting the faulty power supply of the circuit to prevent damage to the connected electrical installation.

All MK Sentry MCBs are fitted with a 6kA breaking capacity as standard alongside a 35mm² Terminal capacity.

The operation dolly switch can be locked into either the ON or OFF position without affecting the ability of the tripping mechanism to operate. When a fault is detected it is not possible to close the contacts. The unit also provides protection via a filtering device, reducing the risk of unwanted tripping due to transient surges in the supply to the unit.

When set to the 'OFF' position a contact gap of 4mm is present, allowing for usage as an isolating switch when necessary.
