The Scantronic SDR-2R-EXT-NC Wireless External Bell Box Siren (No Cover) is a high-performance external warning device designed for use with Scantronic wireless intruder alarm systems. Supplied without an outer cover, this unit is ideal as a replacement siren module or for pairing with a compatible Scantronic external sounder cover.

Utilising Scantronic Secure Radio (SSR) technology, the SDR-2R-EXT-NC provides cybersecure, bidirectional wireless communication, enabling over-the-air firmware updates and rapid, reliable event notification. This advanced communication protocol ensures system integrity and long-term future compatibility.

Delivering a powerful 100 dB(A) siren output at 1 metre, the unit provides a strong visual and audible deterrent. It features configurable cut-off timer options (5 seconds, 3 minutes, or 15 minutes) and is powered by four CR123A lithium batteries, offering a typical battery life of up to 3 years in SSR mode.

Built for external use, the siren operates reliably in harsh conditions with an IP55 rating and a wide operating temperature range, making it suitable for residential and commercial installations.
