BG Nexus 800 Series 13A 2 Gang Switched Socket Type A RCD 30mA White Moulded | 822ARCD-01

The BG Nexus 822ARCD-01 combines a double switched 13A socket with an integrated Type A residual current device rated at 30mA. It trips in under 40ms on an earth fault, and its latching design means the socket returns to its original state when power is restored. A power indicator confirms the supply is on.

Type A detection covers pulsating DC fault currents as well as AC, which suits modern appliances with electronic power supplies. It is a practical way to add RCD protection to individual sockets on older installations, garages and workshops, or for power tools used outside. Note it needs a deeper 35mm back box.
