Screw terminals set the BG Nexus 8BTS/2-01 apart from its IDC sibling: the telephone cores are clamped under screws, so it can be wired with an ordinary screwdriver rather than a punch down tool. It provides two secondary (slave) telephone sockets on a single size plate.
Made to BS 6312-2, it fits a 35mm deep single back box at 60.3mm centres and matches the white moulded finish of the Nexus 800 Series. Installers who terminate lots of points often prefer the IDC 8BTSI/2-01 for speed. Check with the line provider how the phone service is delivered before extending wiring.
