Two RJ11 connections sit side by side on the BG 9RJ11/2-0J, a flush mounted twin telephone socket from BG's square edge 900 Series. It serves two devices with RJ11 plugs from one single back box.
That might be a VoIP handset and an alarm dialler, or two lines at a reception desk.
