Bathroom Sockets

Bathroom sockets, also known as shaver sockets or shaver points, have very strict regulations around the location in which you can install them. While you can install a regular 3-pin socket into your bathroom (at least 3 metres away from the bath or shower) it's advised that you use a shaver point for the sake of health and safety

Shaver points can be fitted in zone 2 or 3 but never zone 1. You can find out more about bathroom zones in our guide.
