BG Nexus 800 Series 20A Double Pole Switch White Moulded | 830-01

The BG Nexus 830-01 is a 20A double pole switch, breaking both live and neutral to give local isolation for a fixed appliance. Electricians use it beside immersion heaters, towel rails, boilers and air conditioning units, where the appliance is hard wired and needs a clear means of switching off.

This version has no flex outlet or indicator; the cable runs straight into the back box. Choose the 832-01 if the appliance is connected by flex. Mounting the switch beside the appliance, rather than relying on the consumer unit, lets anyone working on it isolate the supply where they can see it. It is made to BS EN 60669-1 and fits a 25mm single box at 60.3mm centres. More switches are in the BG Nexus white moulded range.
