A plain large plate switch for high current loads, the BG 973-0J isolates cookers, hobs and electric showers through a 45A double pole mechanism. It comes from the square edge 900 Series in white moulding.
Without an indicator the plate is uncluttered, which some prefer on a kitchen splashback. It mounts on a twin back box of at least 47mm at 120.6mm centres, and the terminals accept cable up to 16mm². The 972-0J is the version with an LED indicator, and the 975-0J puts the same switch on a single plate. Behind the cooker, fit the BG 979-0J outlet plate.
