The FireHawk RF-Link Smoke Alarm interlinks wirelessly with other RF-Link smoke, heat and CO alarms to give full-home coverage, and its sealed 10 year lithium battery means tool-free installation with no wiring. When one alarm in the system detects smoke, every linked alarm sounds giving occupants the earliest possible warning wherever they are in the property, which is exactly what's needed to meet interlinking requirements in rented and multi-storey homes.

Detection is handled by a unique X-Profile chamber controlled by bespoke software, working alongside TSE-Technology (Thermal Stability Enhancement) to hold performance steady across changing environmental conditions cutting nuisance alarms while improving genuine smoke detection.

Installation and day-to-day use are deliberately simple. The Auto Switch Mounting Plate powers the alarm on the moment it's fitted and off again when removed, and an extra large test button makes routine checks easy for anyone. The alarm silence button quickly quietens false triggers from cooking or steam, while the low battery warning can be silenced for up to 10 hours so protection continues uninterrupted overnight. A red LED flashes once a minute to confirm power, and flashes constantly to indicate an alarm condition.
