The Knightsbridge FR150 Intumescent Fire Hood is a flexible fire-stopping solution designed to maintain ceiling fire integrity around recessed downlights and electrical fittings. With a 150mm diameter and 150mm height, this round fire hood provides up to 90 minutes of fire protection when installed correctly.

Manufactured from a breathable intumescent material, the hood allows heat generated by the luminaire to dissipate safely, helping to prevent overheating of the terminal block and downlight during normal operation. In the event of a fire, the material expands to seal the ceiling penetration, slowing the spread of fire and smoke.

Lightweight and flexible, the FR150 is suitable for use in plasterboard, concrete, and suspended ceilings, making it a versatile solution for residential and commercial lighting installations.
