Stylish Up & Down Wall Lighting Design

The standout feature of the KSR Lighting KSR13103 is its up and down lighting arrangement.

Unlike conventional single-direction wall lights, this fitting uses two GU10 lamps to project light in opposite directions.

This creates a distinctive architectural lighting effect that can enhance the appearance of both internal and external walls.

The upward beam can highlight the wall surface above the fitting, while the downward beam can provide illumination below.

When installed in a suitable location, this arrangement creates an attractive combination of decorative and functional lighting.

Benefits of Up & Down Wall Lighting

• Creates attractive dual-direction illumination
• Highlights architectural wall surfaces
• Adds visual interest to building exteriors
• Suitable for modern entrance lighting
• Enhances patios and outdoor seating areas
• Provides decorative illumination for interior feature walls
• Complements contemporary architectural designs

The final lighting effect depends on the GU10 lamps selected, including their brightness, beam angle and colour temperature.

Contemporary Black Finish

The KSR Luso II KSR13103 features a stylish Black finish designed to complement a wide range of architectural styles.

Black outdoor wall lights are particularly popular for modern homes, extensions and commercial properties because they provide a clean, contemporary appearance.

The finish coordinates well with black entrance doors, window frames, exterior fittings and modern architectural metalwork.

It also provides an attractive contrast against brickwork, stone, render and timber surfaces.

Benefits of the Black Finish

• Contemporary architectural appearance
• Complements modern exterior designs
• Suitable for residential and commercial properties
• Coordinates with black doors and window frames
• Attractive against brick, stone and rendered walls
• Ideal for modern entrances and patios
• Suitable for minimalist interior lighting schemes

Whether installed beside an entrance, along an exterior wall or within a corridor, the KSR13103 provides an attractive lighting feature that enhances the surrounding design.

Dual GU10 Lamp Compatibility

The KSR Lighting KSR13103 is designed to accommodate two GU10 lamps, each with a maximum permitted wattage of 35W.

This provides a maximum combined lamp wattage of 70W, subject to the manufacturer's installation requirements.

The two-lamp arrangement allows the fitting to produce both upward and downward illumination.

As the product is supplied without lamps, users can select compatible GU10 bulbs to achieve their preferred lighting effect.

GU10 Lamp Options

Depending on the selected lamps, users can choose:

• Warm white lighting for welcoming residential spaces
• Neutral white lighting for general-purpose applications
• Cool white lighting for a crisp, contemporary appearance
• Different brightness levels
• Narrow beam angles for more focused wall lighting
• Wider beam angles for broader illumination
• Suitable energy-efficient LED lamps

For a balanced appearance, matching GU10 lamps are generally recommended.

Important: Each GU10 lamp must be suitable for use within the fitting and must not exceed the manufacturer's 35W maximum rating per lamp.

Compatible with Retrofit LED GU10 Lamps

The KSR13103 Luso II Up & Down Wall Light is suitable for use with compatible retrofit LED GU10 lamps.

LED GU10 lamps provide an energy-efficient alternative to traditional halogen lamps and are available in a wide range of brightness levels, colour temperatures and beam angles.

This allows the fitting to be tailored to different lighting requirements.

Benefits of LED GU10 Lighting

• Energy-efficient lighting options
• Wide choice of colour temperatures
• Different beam angles available
• Reduced energy consumption compared with equivalent halogen lamps
• Long operating life, depending on the selected lamps

For installations near the sea or in other high-saline environments, an alternative fitting specifically rated for those conditions should be selected.

Benefits of Clear Glass Lenses

• Complements the contemporary black finish
• Allows upward and downward illumination
