The Soudal Zinc Spray 98% Acrylic 400ml is a professional high-zinc acrylic coating designed for cold galvanising and long-lasting corrosion protection of zinc, galvanised metal, untreated iron and steel.

Containing zinc with a stated 98% purity, this extra-thick coating provides excellent resistance against corrosion, weathering, mechanical shocks, rubbing and erosion. It is particularly suitable for protecting ferrous components outdoors and for restoring corrosion resistance after cutting, threading or welding operations.

How to Apply

For best results, the substrate should be rigid, clean, dry and free from dust and grease. Loose old paint and rust should be removed before application, and Soudal recommends carrying out a preliminary adhesion test.

Shake the aerosol thoroughly and spray from approximately 20cm away. Soudal specifies application in two layers, allowing at least 2 hours between coats. A finishing coat can be applied after approximately 24 hours.

After use, Soudal recommends spraying the aerosol upside down for around three seconds until only propellant emerges, helping prevent zinc residue from blocking the valve.
