Visitors can call the appropriate occupant through the telephone entry system, allowing the resident or member of staff to communicate with the caller before granting access. Residents, tenants, staff and other authorised users can bypass the visitor calling process and enter using a compatible proximity key fob.

The integrated Bell BPR Compact Proximity Reader uses MIFARE 13.56MHz tag technology and can identify up to 1,000 fob users. This provides substantial capacity for authorised users while retaining straightforward standalone programming without the need for central programming or reporting.

User credentials can be validated and voided using Bell's shadow fob system with Bell Custom Security Coding. The reader can provide outputs for both fail-secure and fail-safe locking devices, includes an input for an exit button and uses a single green, red and blue LED to provide visual operational indication.
