Install as an Up Light or Down Light

One of the key benefits of the Leto is its reversible installation orientation. The fitting can be mounted to direct its light either upwards or downwards, allowing the lighting effect to be tailored to the building and application.

Mounted downwards, it can provide a focused pool of illumination around entrances, pathways and exterior walls. Installed upwards, it can be used to accent architectural surfaces and create an attractive feature-lighting effect.

Modern Matt Anthracite Finish

The anthracite finish gives the Leto a smart contemporary appearance that complements modern windows, doors, cladding and other dark exterior architectural details.

Its understated cylindrical form makes it suitable for properties where a clean, minimalist exterior light is preferred over a traditional lantern-style fitting.

IP65 Rated for Outdoor Use

With an IP65 ingress protection rating, this version of the Leto is designed for outdoor applications, providing protection against dust and water jets.

This makes it a practical option for exterior walls, porches, entrances, patios and other suitable exposed outdoor locations.

GU10 Lamp for Flexible Lighting

The fitting accepts 1 x GU10 LED lamp up to 7W, with the lamp purchased separately.

Because the light source is replaceable rather than permanently integrated, the installer or homeowner can select a compatible GU10 lamp with the preferred:

• Colour temperature
• Light output
• Beam characteristics
• Dimming capability, where the chosen lamp and control gear permit

It also means the lamp can be replaced independently at the end of its service life rather than replacing the complete wall fitting.

Focused Architectural Lighting

The Leto's single-ended design creates a defined pool of illumination rather than emitting light simultaneously above and below the fitting.

This makes it particularly effective when installed in multiples along an exterior wall, where evenly spaced fittings can create a coordinated architectural lighting scheme.

Durable Steel Construction

The Leto is manufactured with a steel body, with current trade information also identifying metal and glass construction.

Its robust construction and outdoor rating make it suitable for year-round exterior installations when correctly installed and maintained.

Push-Fit Connection

Forum's current catalogue identifies push-fit connectors as a feature of the Leto Up or Down range, helping simplify electrical connection during installation.

As a Class I fitting, the wall light requires an earth connection and should be installed in accordance with the relevant wiring regulations.

Compact Exterior Design

The Leto's compact proportions allow it to provide exterior illumination without dominating the wall.

There is some variation in published dimensional data across catalogue and distributor sources. Current Forum catalogue material depicts the fitting at approximately 115mm high x 60mm wide x 110mm projection, while some trade databases give slightly different measurements.

For installation where exact clearances are critical, the latest physical product or manufacturer drawing should therefore be checked before drilling or positioning.
